KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 23): A trio of London Biscuits Bhd shareholders that claim to hold 10% of the group’s shares are seeking an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to vote to remove directors Mahadir Manap and Tan Meng Hui.
In a bourse filing, the confectionary manufacturer said it had received on Dec 20 a letter from shareholders Lai Yee Voon, Mak Siew Wei and Koo Kien Yoon stating that they were calling for the EGM to remove independent and non-executive director Mahadir and executive director Tan from the group’s board.
