Bursa suspends PDT, IDSS for 11 counters amid market-wide selldown

KUALA LUMPUR (March 16): Bursa Malaysia has suspended the proprietary day trading (PDT) and intraday short selling (IDSS) of 11 companies, as the counters have dropped more than 15% today.

The bourse announced the suspension of IGB Real Estate Investment Trust (IGB REIT), Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd, VS Industry Bhd, UMW Holdings Bhd, Dufu Technology Corp Bhd, ATA IMS Bhd, Pentamaster Corp Bhd, Mi Technovation Bhd, Mega First Corp Bhd, Thong Guan Industries Bhd and Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Bhd.

IGB REIT was last traded at RM1.53, after falling 32 sen or 17.3%, giving a market capitalisation of RM5.43 billion.

Dayang fell 21 sen or 18.1% to 95 sen, for a market capitalisation of RM1.01 billion.

VS Industry declined 14 sen or 14.8% to 80.5 sen for a market capitalisation of RM1.5 billion.

UMW was down 35 sen or 15.28% at RM1.94, giving a market capitalisation of RM2.27 billion.

Dufu Technology was down 49 sen or 13.84% at RM3.05, translating to a market capitalisation of RM802.79 million.

ATA IMS fell 18 sen or 15.79% to 96 sen, giving a market capitalisation of RM1.16 billion.

Pentamaster declined 49 sen or 13% to RM3.28, bringing its market capitalisation to RM1.56 billion.

Mi Technovation fell 28 sen or 12.96% to RM1.88, giving a market capitalisation of RM1.41 billion.

Mega First Corp was down 63 sen or 13.82% at RM3.93, giving a market capitalisation of RM1.77 billion.

Thong Guan fell 49 sen or 15.08% to RM2.76, translating to a market capitalisation of RM512.55 million.

Syarikat Takaful declined 65 sen or 16.67% to RM3.25, giving a market capitalisation of RM2.69 billion.
